We see these folks engaging in intense conversations in our finer coffee shops throughout town, often with laptops open and a profound sense of purpose. You get the impression they could have filled the corporate ranks but opted out for cultural reasons. They don't seem to take to structure too well, so they become entrepreneurs. You often overhear parts of their conversation and quickly come to realize that the variety of creativity and experience amassed in our little town has to be one of the most diverse give our modest population.
