The rule recognizes the universality of factors that lead to fatigue in most individuals and regulates these factors to ensure that flightcrew members in passenger operations do not accumulate dangerous amounts of fatigue. LOUISVILLE, Ky. - An aviation maintenance program at a high school in Louisville has been temporarily suspended after a Federal Aviation Administration inspection found record-keeping problems. The program coordinator for the aviation maintenance program at the Academy at Shawnee has been removed, according to a spokeswoman for the Jefferson Community and Technical College. The community college jointly manages the course of study at the high school along with Jefferson County Public Schools. Lisa Brosky, a spokeswoman for the college, told The Courier- Journal they voluntarily suspended the program after the FAA found that faculty were forgetting to sign forms, students were not signing in and out of classes and students were using the wrong forms to document their course work.
