The US Conference on Fair Use (CONFU) was formed on Sept, 1994 to May, 1997 to allow copyright owners and users to set guidelines on fair use of protected works in libraries and academes. CONFU will reconvene in May, 1998 giving a one-year trial for the guidelines proposed in the first conference.
