I was at the fair, getting another cup of coffee at Lerch's, before the hog show got into full swing. I stopped to talk to talk to Dave Miller when his wife called from her office to say a plane crashed into the World Trade Center. As Dave was talking to Linda, she said a second plane crashed into the other tower. News and rumors kept coming in all day. As a 4-H adviser with kids showing, it was frustrating not being able to leave to find out what was going on.
