Roland (Ron) Louis Skala Jr. (age 60) passed away peacefully with his wife by his side, Thursday, September 23, 2010. Ron was one of two children born to Helen and Roland Skala Sr. on July 31, 1950. He was raised in Great Falls, Montana and graduated from Great Falls Central Catholic High School in 1968. He attended his first year of college at College of Great Falls, his second year at Gonzaga University, and graduated from Eastern Washington State College in 1972, receiving an undergraduate degree in History. In 1972, Ron met his future wife Lauri Denenny in Spokane. They married on August 24, 1973. Ron continued his education at Gonzaga Law School, graduating in 1975, and he passed the Bar the same year.
