During an earlier photo shoot of the Flex Expedition in Detroit last year, a guy pulled up next to the SUV and said he wouldn't have even considered buying the Expedition until he saw the Flex model. That I guess woufd be the basis of why they call the "Flexpidition" a "specialty" or "limited edition" vehicle. RICHMOND, Va. - A team of scientists will launch an expedition to the Titanic next month to assess the deteriorating condition of the world's most famous shipwreck and create a detailed three- dimensional map that will "virtually raise the Titanic" for the public. The expedition to the site 2 1/2 miles beneath the North Atlantic is billed as the most advanced scientific mission to the Titanic wreck since its discovery 25 years ago.
COLUMBIA -- Lt. Col. William Shaffer led 200 men from "Merrill's Horse," the 2nd Missouri Cavalry, on an expedition to Fayette. Shaffer, Col. Lewis Merrill and about 300 men from the regiment had arrived three days earlier and taken over the grounds of the University of Missouri. Shaffer and his men were "hunting a fight with a secession camp in Howard County," the Missouri Statesman reported.
