Upgrades to the David L. Lawrence Convention Center won't stop once the Group of 20 economic summit opens next month.
Construction on the center's riverfront park will cost about $7.4 million and is slated to start three days after the summit ends Sept. 25, according to a contract the Sports & Exhibition Authority awarded Thursday to Mascaro Contracting L.P.
