Evergreens Caleb Dressler hopes to make an instant impact on Hawaiis basketball program. ---
This is the time of year when flowers disappear and deciduous trees are denuded of their foliage. For serious plant watchers, it's the time of year when foliage of evergreen trees, shrubs and ground covers takes center stage.

As revivals go, Thursdays Evergreen girls basketball win at Skyview on Thursday was special. The Plainsmen trailed by 10 entering the final quarter, then rode a late 16-0 run to a 51-45 win. The result prevented the Storm from clinching the Class 4A Greater St. Helens League title, and was the most significant win in a while for an Evergreen program that struggled in recent seasons.
