Investigative journalist and writer Edwin Black is scheduled to give a multimedia presentation at Virginia Tech Sunday on eugenics, scientific practices aimed at "improving" the genetic composition of a population.
Black's presentation "Eugenics from Virginia to Auschwitz," is based on his book "War Against the Weak," a chronicle documenting how American corporate philanthropies launched a national campaign of ethnic cleansing in the United States, helped found and fund the Nazi eugenics and then created the modern movement of "human genetics.
