SAN FRANCISCO, Nov. 9, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- Fresh from banning toys in McDonald's Happy Meals, the San Francisco Board of Supervisors is now considering a local mandate to require that 50% of the members of a construction crew live in the City of San Francisco regardless of the skill level, experience or training of the individuals.
Today, the Engineering and Utility Contractors Association, (EUCA), representing more than 400 union-affiliated contractor and associate firms employing more than 25,000 workers, announced its opposition to the proposal.
