Working closely with local government officials and the Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency (PEMA), Salvation Army mobile response units are currently in service across Central and Northeastern Pennsylvania providing meals and support services in the following locations:

HACKENSACK -- Paul and Eileen Valverde are the new commanding officers of The Salvation Army Corps in Hackensack. The young couple finished their training in June and began work in the city in July. The Valverdes are forming an advisory board, looking at expanding programs, and have reactivated the organization's Emergency Disaster Services.
Two weeks after arriving in Hackensack, the Valverdes served hundreds of meals to emergency responders at a parking garage collapse on Prospect Avenue.
