Many of you have had phone or email conversations with Debra Alexander. Some of you may have spoken with her in her previous role as assistant to the newspaper's ombudsman. Andy Warhol was coming to the University of Utah. The date was Oct. 2, 1967, and I was editorial assistant on the Daily Utah Chronicle, the U.'s student newspaper. Warhol at the time was a revolutionary artist, a man who was turning convention on its head, the creator of fabulous silk screen prints of JFK and Marilyn Monroe, the Campbell Soup can painter, the director of strange underground films.
