The growth in Miami-Dade eighth graders scoring at four and above was even greater - a 13-point gain over 2005. Two-thirds of the District's eighth graders reached or surpassed that score in 2006. By comparison, the percentage of students scoring four and above statewide climbed by 10 percentage points.
