NEW HAVEN -- Coming off a record-breaking regular-season mark of 15-3-1, the Albertus Magnus men's soccer team earned the No. 2 seed in the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference tournament.

A--The Albertus Magnus men's soccer team has earned its second- straight ECAC bid and will host No. 7 Endicott College on Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. on Celentano Field.

Misericordia senior Tyler Anderson (Cocalico) was selected as team MVP. Anderson, a two-time ECAC All-Conference player and two- time captain, returned from a broken foot to start nine games in the backfield this season.

BANGOR - After a loss to Castleton State in penalty kicks cost the Husson University Eagles a shot in the NCAA Division III Tournament, they made the most of their first-ever appearance in the ECAC Division III New England men's soccer tourney Wednesday.
Kittery freshman Tyler Metevier scored a pair of goals and former Hampden Academy star Nattapong Kongsuriya picked up a pair of assists as fourth seed Husson dominated the fifth-seeded Huskies from the University of Southern Maine 3-0 at Boucher Field.

Paul Templeton, who recently completed his senior season as a member of the Southern Connecticut State men's soccer team, was named an All-ECAC honoree earlier today. It's the third straight year that he has been recognized. Templeton, last year's ECAC Defensive Player of the Year and also an All-Region and All- Conference selection this fall, led the Owls in scoring with 14 points on seven goals. Three of his tallies were game-winners.
A--Three members of the Southern Connecticut State football team - - Sam-uel Johnson, Andre Privott and Rashaad Slowley of the SCSU football team have been named All-Americans by www.d2proday.com.

Drew advanced to the ECAC Division III Metro men's soccer final with a 1-0 double-overtime victory over Ramapo on Saturday in Mahwah.
The Rangers will play at Rutgers-Camden today.

From staff reports Lindsley Barrett scored three goals as the Albertus Magnus men's soccer team came from behind to beat Castelton State 5-3 Saturday in the ECAC Tournament semifinals at Waltham, Mass.
The Falcons will face Brandeis today at noon in the final. With Castleton up 2-0, Barrett scored twice. Stephen Zapata scored on a direct kick to give Albertus the lead.
