REDLANDS - The University of Redlands sent out letters to 41 senior faculty members last week announcing the voluntary supplemental retirement program the Board of Trustees approved.

MAQUOKETA, Iowa - The Maquoketa Community School Board approved an early-retirement package for all employees, although two members tried to eliminate the superintendent position from being eligible for the plan.
On Monday night, board members voted, 3-2, to allow all employees to sign up for an early-retirement package, which offers a portion of their salary split over two years.

Greensburg Salem School District is offering an early-retirement package to teachers -- including a first-time, yearly cash-stipend incentive -- in a move that administrators and school directors said will result in immediate cost savings.
