Lil Wayne was arrested on three felony drug charges Wednesday after federal agents said they found illegal drugs, including cocaine, on his charter bus at a checkpoint in southwestern Arizona. The rapper, whose real name is Dwayne Michael Carter Jr. , spent the day at the Yuma County jail on the state drug charges before being released on $10,000 bond, Capt. Eben Bratcher said.
Two Penn Hills brothers have been indicted by a federal grand jury on drug trafficking charges, prosecutors said Thursday. Robert Lee Carter IV, 27, and Dwayne Michael Carter, 21, were indicted on drug and firearms charges by the grand jury in March, prosecutors said. The indictment remained under seal until yesterday.

YUMA, Ariz. (AP) - Lawyers for rapper Lil Wayne have filed a motion in Yuma County Superior Court to reduce a charge of possession of drugs for sale. The 25-year-old rapper, whose real name is Dwayne Michael Carter Jr., was indicted last month on one count each of possession of a narcotic drug for sale, possession of dangerous drugs, misconduct involving weapons and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia.
