Why art? Because it inspires, evokes a passion to create, and elevates the soul and the mind. The cover photo of Bryan with outstretched arms welcomes readers to glimpse several facets of his life: a tour of his Maine island home, his family and their support of his artistic talent, his confrontation with racism, his military experience and art education around the world, his teaching of art, and his work as a children's book illustrator.

Dada's team includes one slam master/coach, five main members and two alternates. The restaurant's primary team members are Adam "Raff Adams" Freilich, Alexis Caputo, Deborah Magdalena, Matthew "Cuban" Hernandez, Reagan "Mr. Rigz" Mendoza and coach Chris Da Imperial.
Caputo's poem, "Breathe," is a soul-stirring piece in which she dialogues with the audience about hope, service to humanity, surviving oppression, and resurrecting one's self-esteem.

Part 1 of a two-part series about notorious murderer Ronnie Lee Gardner and the gradual change of heart he experienced in the last years of his life as he reached out to Dan Bradshaw, a Salt Lake banker who served as an LDS prison bishop. Bradshaw told his story to Deseret News writer Doug Robinson because he felt that it contained a valuable message about people's ability to examine themselves and make changes in their lives, even a hard case such as Gardner.
Dan Bradshaw, who is a Salt Lake banker in his day job, has a story to tell. It's a story about murderer Ronnie Lee Gardner, but it's also a story about discovering a conscience, about wasted life and regret and the weight of guilt, a story about a change of heart, and a story about walking in the grass in bare feet.
