As the price of oil continues to rise, exploration and production companies are finally spending more on drilling new wells. That, in turn, drives up demand for drilling rigs and supply vessels.
Capital budgets for new exploration in 2005 have risen from 15 percent to more than 50 percent over 2004 budgets. The increased exploration means nearly all available drilling and supply equipment is in use and rental rates are at levels unseen since the early 1990s.

HEYWORTH - The Heyworth Board of Education has approved work in anticipation of a geothermal heating and cooling system at Heyworth Elementary School.
