Fast forward to 1995, where a Canadian researcher Donald McKenzie, a sports medicine physician at the University of British Columbia thought it counterintuitive for breast cancer survivors to limit upper body exercise to reduce the chance of lymphedema and formed the first breast cancer survivors' team. Dragon boating's repetitive paddling motion releases endorphins into the blood stream, through vigorous activity the mood of the paddler is lifted as unblocked energy rises from deep within the paddler.

Armed with awesome weapons and powers, Marduk charged into battle with the weather itself at his command: He created the evil wind, and the tempest, and the hurricane, And the fourfold wind, and the sevenfold wind, and the whirlwind, and the wind which had no equal; He sent forth the winds which he had created, the seven of them; To batter the organs of Tiamat, they followed after him. The last time we took any note of Roland Joffe, the director of "The Mission" and "The Killing Fields," it was through his take on the ugly genre "torture porn" titled "Captivity" back in 2007. To be fair, he followed that up with the lesbian murder mystery "You and I," which even fewer people saw.
He's back in theaters and back in the world of period pieces with "There Be Dragons," a Spanish Civil War tale that tells the story of the controversial founder of the Catholic Opus Dei organization. It's an odd but ambitious choice and a muddled and unsatisfying film -- "Doctor Zhivago" without the majesty, "Reds" without the passion or romance.

An added bonus: Those grassy viewing spots at Fifth Third Field, which are $7, are close to the inflatable "bounce houses," where youngsters who lose interest in on-field events can work off their cotton candy and Mountain Dew induced buzzes before the ride home. The lawn attracts school groups, Little Leaguers, couples -- anyone who either relishes its freedoms or can't get an actual seat. Yes, it seems the Dragons have thought of everything during their first 11 years as the Cincinnati Reds' low-Class A affiliate...
