Ankrom of Augusta and Mrs. Doris Gilmore and the late Mr. Joseph Gilmore of Pensacola, Fla. She is a graduate of Augusta State University, where she earned both a Bachelor of Science in Education and a Master of Education in Early Childhood Education.
