• St. Louis County Planning Commission's Ex-Chairman Indicted

Former St. Louis County Planning Commission Chairman Douglas Morgan was indicted on a federal bank fraud charge last week. Morgan allegedly submitted "false and deceptive" personal financial statements to obtain 15 loans in his name from Commercial Bank, of which he was a shareholder, according to a U.S. Department of Justice press release. He also allegedly guaranteed other loans in his children's names. Morgan currently owes $1.5 million on all of the loans, according to the release.
