State police are investigating an apparent hit and run in Fayette County that damaged a section of the Albert Gallatin School District administration office early Monday.
According to police, a motorist drove north through the office's parking lot at 8 a.m., hitting a brick column supporting a roof on the front of the building in Georges Township. The motorist drove away.

An election to fill a vacancy in Director District 9 on the Board of Directors of the Keystone Area Education Agency will be conducted during an election convention at noon Feb. 11 at the Dubuque Community School District Administration Office, 2300 Chaney Road.
The director district includes the Dubuque County Precincts 1, 2, 4, 16, 20, 32, 34, 42 and 45 (in the Dubuque Community School District). The director will be elected by the Dubuque Board of Education.
