MCLEAN, Va., Nov. 16, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) (NYSE: SAI) today announced it has been awarded a task order by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to provide hosting services to the agency's National Computer Center. The task order has a one-year base period of performance, five one-year options, and a total value of more than $42 million if all options are exercised. Work will be performed in Washington, D.C.; Research Triangle Park, N.C.; and other EPA locations. The task order was awarded under the Information Technology Services-Environmental Protection Agency II (ITS-EPA II) Blanket Purchase Agreement.
