In a YouTube video posted earlier this month, TurboSquid, a New Orleans company that designs digital 3D models and sells them online, had to warn web surfers that the sofas, sports cars and iPads it sells on its website are not actually real. The video was made in response to waves of confused calls from would-be customers asking where they can enter their shipping address on the website or frustrated that they have yet to receive their orders.
