  • Dozens of post offices statewide will join the U.S. Department of State in a passport outreach event Saturday. The promotion comes two months before the June 1 full implementation of the Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative. Those rules will require most U.S. citizens entering the U.S. to have a passport or passport card. Other documents approved by the Department of Homeland Security may also qualify.
