Qwest is implementing a new program in which customers can direct 1 percent of their monthly bill to the school district of their choice.
To be eligible, customers must enroll in Qwest's paperless billing and automatic payment system by visiting www.qwest.com. Once enrolled, they can select any school district within Qwest's 14- state service area as the recipient of their 1 percent donation. For example, a grandparent who lives in Phoenix can direct Qwest to deliver 1 percent of their bill to a grandchild's school district in Denver.
