Fedora Duszynski, a lifelong volunteer who spent decades working for Veterans Affairs Medical Center, her parish and the Amherst Garden Club, died Monday Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital, Amherst. She was 79.
Born Fedora Tonello, the Buffalo native graduated from Grover Cleveland High School in 1948 and earned a dental hygienist degree from Erie Community College in 1951. She then spent 13 years working for the Erie County Health Department.
