Washington - House Democrat Gwen Moore of Milwaukee is attending a conference in London aimed at reducing the number of women around the world who die from complications of pregnancy and childbirth. Moore is one of four Democratic members of Congress attending the Women Deliver conference, which will examine maternal mortality, according to Moore's spokeswoman, Deirdre Murphy. The event was expected to draw 1,500 participants.
