A company that provides debt-collection and outsourcing services plans to lay off 368 employees permanently at its Hampton call center late next year, according to a filing with the Virginia Employment Commission.

The debt collection company Cavalry Portfolio Services will move its Tulsa offices to Corporate Woods this fall in anticipation of 50- percent growth in both personnel and revenue.
The Valhalla, N.Y., parent company had operated its Tulsa office for a decade in about 24,000 square feet of the Mingo Trade Center, 47th Street and Mingo Road. Over that time Tulsa Senior Vice President of Operations Todd Tipton said his office, formerly MidFirst Bank's First Credit Solutions, grew from 80 employees to 150.
