ATLANTA - Neither Dan Girardi nor Brandon Prust remained on the bench for the Rangers' rally as their in-game absences pushed the team from injury plagued to injury decimated.
But even without two of their grittiest players for the third period and overtime, the Rangers earned a key 3-2 shootout win over the Thrashers on Saturday night at Philips Arena. Brian Boyle tied the game at 14:41 of the third period and rookie Mats Zuccarello scored the lone shootout goal.

Adam Ariola, Dan Bartosik, and Brandon Taylor each contributed two hits to lead Normal Community to a 17-3 Big 12 Conference baseball victory over host Bloomington in five innings on Monday at Howard Saar Field.
Kyle Rutledge added three RBI for the Ironmen (21-13, 9-4). Taylor (6-2) worked the mound and struck out four while walking one.
