I am so proud of Western University for receiving an "F" from the American Medical Student Association and the Pew Prescription Project as reported in the Daily Bulletin (Dec. 27). Who are these activists and who really cares what they believe? Do they actually practice medicine and make decisions that impact patients' lives and pocketbooks? Really? When was the last time a medical student wrote a prescription for anything without asking his attending physician how best to manage a patient?
