Despite what the American Civil Liberties Union may profess, members of the U.S. Customs and Border Protection Agency were simply doing their jobs during the various sweeps across Southern California during the summer months. The ACLU last week filed a lawsuit in federal court in Los Angeles, saying the agency had refused to provide records about the arresting and deportation of more than 400 undocumented immigrants in San Bernardino, Riverside and Los Angeles counties.
