IT is disappointing to learn that our government contributes funds to "crisis pregnancy centers" or "pregnancy counseling centers," often fake clinics, run by extreme anti-choice groups. They frequently pose as women's health clinics, advertising under "abortion" and "family planning" services. Typically they are located near comprehensive reproductive health clinics and use similar sounding names; however, they do not offer contraception, abortion services or referrals.
