EAST COCALICO TWP.: Jean Marie Small, 24, of Ephrata, was charged on March 14, after she was allegedly involved in a domestic dispute with a family member in the first block of Hayloft Road, township police said. Small was released on $10,000 bail. DENVER: Adam Kenneth Beears, 35, of Ephrata, was charged with burglary, robbery, theft, simple assault and criminal mischief as the result of an incident at 532 Main St., March 5, East Cocalico Township police said. Beears allegedly forced his way into a home and assaulted a female acquaintance. He was arraigned before District Judge Bruce Roth and committed to Lancaster County Prison in lieu of $50,000 bail.
LANCASTER: Tiffany J. Verling, 18, of 555 S. Prince St., was charged with simple assault (domestic violence) after she allegedly chased a 19-year-old man with a knife Saturday in the 500 block of South Prince Street. MANHEIM: Joshua R. Brunner, 24, of 125 City Mill Road, was charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, reckless endangerment, criminal trespass and public drunkenness after an incident May 28 at a tavern in the 100 block of South Main Street. Police said he threatened patrons with a weapon.
EAST LAMPETER TWP.: Police said employees of A/R Tire, 198 Greenfield Road, reported the business was forcibly entered Sunday. Small items and change were taken. WEST HEMPFIELD TWP.: The First Student school bus company, 3871 Old Harrisburg Pike, was forcibly entered Friday, police said. A vending machine was forced open and money was taken.
EAST PETERSBURG: Jayson C. Colon-Gift, 25, of Lemon Street, was charged with simple assault after he allegedly punched his girlfriend in the face at 3:10 a.m. on Saturday, Manheim Township police said. A warrant has been issued for his arrest. MANHEIM TWP.: Justin K. Metzler , 21, of River Road, Holtwood, was charged with simple assault and endangering the welfare of a child after getting into a fight with his girlfriend Sunday morning, Manheim Township police said.
MANOR TWP.: A 15-year-old Lancaster boy was treated at a local hospital for injuries he received during a fight at a party near Horseshoe Loop off Hershey Mill Road Aug. 16. The boy was released from the hospital later that night. MANOR TWP.: Burglars broke out a large window in the front of the A PC computer store at 2608 Columbia Ave. at 5:45 a.m. Thursday.
EAST PETERSBURG: A man approached a 7-year-old girl who was playing in her yard and asked her if she wanted to go for a walk with him around 9:15 a.m. Saturday in the 5800 block of Leebel Road, Manheim Township police said. The girl ran inside and told her mother, who drove around the area looking for the man for about 10 minutes. She was unable to find him, so she returned home and called police, who also searched for him but did not find him, police said.
ELIZABETH TWP.: A burglar or burglars forced their way into a home in the 100 block of Fox Road between noon and 3 p.m. on Monday, state police at Ephrata said. A jewelry case containing a large amount of jewelry was stolen. Loss is about $2,200. State police at Ephrata ask anyone with information to call them at 721-7667.
MANOR TWP.: Terrence Milligan, 20, of 2107-B Plymouth Ave., was charged after he allegedly used a debit card that had been lost by a Lancaster woman April 17 to buy an item for more than $100 at the Just Press Play store on South Centerville Road. Police said Milligan told them he found the card along the road and decided to use it. LEBANON CO.: A 16-year-old Lancaster County boy was charged with aggravated assault and disorderly conduct for incidents Sunday night at Philhaven, 283 S. Butler Road, Mount Gretna, police said. The resident at the Boys West Campus assaulted a male staff member and spit in the hair of a female staff member. Charges were filed with the Lebanon County Juvenile Probation Department.
MANHEIM: Laurel G. Kingsbury, 31, of 917 Columbia Ave., was charged with simple assault and criminal mischief after she allegedly entered a home in the first block of South Grant Street Friday, struck a female in the face and then stepped on the victim's foot, police said. Kingsbury also allegedly threw a burning candle on the floor and took a book from the home. PEQUEA TWP.: Two brothers from Maine are being charged with assaulting two Willow Street residents at a hotel on Shiprock Road Sunday. Daniel Donaghy, 29, of Cooper, Maine, and Bradford Donaghy, 27, of Dennysville, Maine, fled to Maine after the assault, police said, and a summons has been issued.
MANOR TWP.: Hemraj Tulsi, of 240 Stonemill Road, was charged with simple assault after a domestic dispute Saturday at his home. EAST DRUMORE TWP.: A 16-year-old Quarryville boy was charged with burglary, criminal trespass, simple assault, two counts of theft and criminal attempt at escape after he was found Sunday in a garage in the 600 block of Center Road, police said. He allegedly punched one of the owners who was trying to detain him. State police said the teen had items belonging to the victims and he tried to escape after being taken into custody.
