  • The Senate Wednesday passed its version of a bill to make graffiti a crime under state law (SB408). Under the bill, which passed the Senate 33-0, graffiti would become the 59th crime against property in state law, and people convicted of defacing property could face penalties of up to one year in jail and fines of up to $10,000.

  • Some residents of Columbia's Old Southwest neighborhood are planning to become a little more nosy in an effort to keep their homes safe.
