Ent Federal Credit Union has opened a service center at 7520 Bierstadt Heights, near the corner of McLaughlin and Woodmen roads, in Falcon, across the street from its former location, which opened in 2005. A grand opening celebration for the new, larger center is scheduled from 9 a.m. to noon April 24.

Tinker Federal Credit Union has loaned its mobile service center to a credit union in Mississippi displaced by Hurricane Katrina. The custom recreational vehicle has two ATMs outside and offices inside and serves as a mobile branch for Tinker Federal. A total of 139 federally insured credit unions were displaced as a result of Hurricane Katrina, according to the National Association of Federal Credit Unions.

- Jack A. Frank of Monument, a representative of Modern Woodmen of America, has been named to Modern Woodmen's 2010 President's Club. This distinction recognizes Frank's high achievement in life insurance sales among the organization's representatives nationwide. - Katherine Nester has been promoted to center manager of Ent Federal Credit Union's Fountain Service Center. Nester has been with Ent for nearly 14 years; for the past seven years, she served as the center supervisor of the service center on Schriever Air Force Base.

First South Financial has acquired Dyersburg Credit Union, giving the Bartlett-based firm its 15th full-service banking center in the Mid-South. As a result of the merger, First South now has more than $400 million in assets, said Dr. Craig Esrael, president and CEO.

- Aventa Credit Union has named Sandra Wells as its vice president of lending. In the newly created executive-level position, Wells will oversee all lending programs, including mortgages, auto lending and credit cards. She has been associated with Aventa since 2001. - Ent Federal Credit announced the promotion of Sarah Cleaveland to service center coordinator of Ent's Bon location. Mitchell previously worked at another clinic. -- Nathan Bingham has been named manager of the America First Credit Union branch at the Draper Harmons. Bingham started at the credit union in 1998 as a member service representative in the member service call center. Since then, he has served in several capacities at the Brigham City, Harrisville and Sandy branches.
