Comedy: Ferguson at the Palace
Craig Ferguson took the long way on the journey to becoming a hot property on late-night talk shows. The host of "The Late, Late Show on CBS," grew up in Cumbernauld, a Glasgow suburb that was voted the second-worst place to live in Britain in 2003. He played drums in several punk rock bands and immersed himself enthusiastically in the Scottish national pastime -- drinking. He eventually immigrated to America, where he played smug department-store boss Nigel Wick on "The Drew Carey Show."
