For the first time in its nearly three-decade-old history, the Chapel Hills Mall has a new owner. And new ownership could mean upgrades to at least one portion of the retail center.
The mall, which opened in 1982 on Colorado Springs' north side, has been purchased by a partnership formed by Coyote Management LP of suburban Dallas and New York-based Garrison Investment Group.

The new owners of Chapel Hills Mall have launched a $50,000 advertising and marketing campaign to rebrand the Colorado Springs area's largest shopping center as "Where to Shop" as they complete a series of cosmetic upgrades.
Coyote Management LP and Garrison Investment Group, which bought the 1.2 million-square-foot mall June 1, relaunched the mall's website, installed a series of signs, wall graphics and interior and exterior banners trumpeting the "Where to Shop" brand and will launch newspaper, radio and television advertisements next month with the same message, said Kymberly Scalia, a Coyote spokeswoman at the company's Dallas area headquarters.

We are removing the WGL DPS from the List of Endangered and Threatened Wildlife. We are taking this action because the best available scientific and commercial information indicates that the WGL DPS does not meet the definitions of threatened or endangered under the Act.
