ARLINGTON, Texas -- Eli Manning and the New York Giants finally have something to show for all their hard work -- first place in the NFC East.
On the verge of being knocked to the edge of the playoff chase, Manning led the Giants to two touchdowns in the final 3:14 and Jason Pierre-Paul blocked a field goal as time expired, giving New York a 37-34 victory over the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday night.

'Cowboys & Aliens'
These special-effects-laden blockbusters come along every year hoping to crush all competitors. This year, "Cowboys & Aliens" was supposed to be one. But director Jon Favreau's film failed because it unsuccessfully blends science fiction and Western genres. The mashup never really feels authentic in either direction, and there's not much personality in it either. The film has some entertainment value, mostly by way of a grizzled character played by Harrison Ford. And star Daniel Craig is a bit stiff in his part. Craig's character wakes up with a metal bracelet on his arm, can't remember anything and ends up in a town where he's wanted. Just as he's about to be hauled off by the law, aliens attack and capture several members of the town. Woodrow (Ford) and Jake (Craig)...
