WALNUT - With the CIF-SS Finals being held on a flatter rain course at Mt. San Antonio College for the first time since 1995, a total of five cross country teams from the county finished among the top seven in their respective divisions to qualify for next week.

The Missouri cross country teams placed 15 athletes on the Academic All-Big 12 team.
Earning first-team honors for the men were Phil Bascio, Kevin Krumrey, JT McCarthy, Kevin McKee, Dan Quigley, Kyle Rood and Max Storms. Tyler Compton made the second team. Women's first-teamers were Baily Belvis, Aimee Bonte, Chelsea Chrisman, Maggie Priebe, Laura Roxberg and Kaitie Vanatta. Kinsey Farren made the second team. Priebe posted a perfect 4.0 grade-point average.
