Eryca Neville, an assistant teaching professor at the University of Missouri, has been named director of alternative education for Columbia Public Schools, which will put her in the principal's role at Douglass High School.
Neville currently works in the Educational, School and Counseling Psychology program in MU's College of Education and also serves as a faculty fellow for the Chancellor's Diversity Initiative.
