The paper further simulates the effects of larger FDI on the generation of taxable income and tax revenues in each country us...

The city's Building and Zoning Department, examined in the current report, is rife with bribery and extortion. There has been a pattern of "increased brazenness" on the part of employees, the report found, leading it to call the department "a poster child for patronage hiring and clout" together with bribes for zoning and building permits.
The first anti-corruption report, released two years ago, examined aldermanic corruption since 1970. It termed the Chicago City Council a "fertile breeding ground" for "the most notorious and p...

Kline, an anti-abortion activist who initiated the investigation leading to 107 charges against Planned Parenthood in Johnson County, said in an interview with The Topeka Capital-Journal that "Shreddergate" should demonstrate the depth of corruption in defense of the Kansas abortion industry.
