VIRGINIA BEACH | A police officer who recently pleaded guilty to inappropriate contact with minors no longer works for the department, a police spokesman confirmed Tuesday.
Ronald S. Dunn, 44, pleaded guilty to two counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor last week, according to Amanda Herman, a spokeswoman for Commonwealth's Attorney Harvey Bryant's office.

HEYWORTH - A rural Heyworth woman accused of hosting an after- prom party for a Peoria high school that was broken up by sheriff's deputies has been charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor and giving or selling alcohol to a minor.
McLean County Sheriff Mike Emery said Kathryn Morgan, 49, offered her residence as a location for the event for dozens of students from Peoria Notre Dame High School. Morgan posted $150 cash bond and was released.

The Santa Fe Police Department is investigating the following reports:
* Miguel Canales-Rodriguez and Christian Garcia, both 19 and of Santa Fe, were arrested on a variety of charges early Sunday, including burglary and contributing to the delinquency of a minor, after police broke up a loud party in the 400 block of Camino Maria Feliz. The police report stated several people apparently had broken into the home and were partying in it. Several members of the group were arrested, but they were not named in the report. Gunfire had been reported, police said.

ELKINS - Police have arrested a 33-year-old Buckhannon woman for contributing to the delinquency of a minor following an investigation into bullying at Buckhannon-Upshur High School.
