The local Consumer Credit Counseling Service of the Tri-State, also known as Apprisen Financial Advocates, is starting to offer housing counseling to assist homeowners facing foreclosure in Kentucky.
The services provided will be conducted through the Kentucky Homeownership Protection Center, which helps Kentucky residents keep their homes, said Kim Brown, financial counselor at the Tri- State consumer credit counseling services at 5401 Vogel Road.

CENTERVILLE -- This spring, Washington-Centerville Public Library will launch Money Sense, a series of programs to promote financial education in the community.
The library has partnered with Hithergreen Center to present the series and will work with a number of groups, including Consumer Credit Counseling Service, DayAir Credit Union, Ohio State Extension Office and the Social Security Administration to provide a variety of programs geared toward helping adults, age 50 and older, gain knowledge that can inform their financial decision-making.
