  • Donna Scheeder and Barbara Semonche were recently added to the Special Libraries Association (SLA) Hall of Fame. The tribute honors the duo's pioneering work in news librarianship and their services and contributions to the association. Scheeder has returned to the Congressional Research Service at the Library of Congress where she will assume the inaugural position of deputy chief information officer. In other news, the SLA nominating committee has announced 10 candidates for the 2011 SLA board of directors. The votes from the members will be cast and counted electronically in mid-Septemher.
