HOUSTON, April 2 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- College students across America will once again strap on empty holsters in an act of silent protest against laws and policies banning licensed concealed carry on campus.
The protest, sponsored by Students for Concealed Carry on Campus (SCCC), will take place April 5-9, 2010 and comes on the heels of college administrators discriminating against concealed carry permit holders, and censoring students who disagree.

Two groups of University of Pittsburgh students faced off on the Oakland campus last week on a strange issue.
One group, Students for Concealed Carry on Campus, wore empty holsters to protest what they feel is an unjust ban on their "right" to be armed while attending an institution of higher learning. On the other side of the street stood members of No Guns on Campus, a group maintaining the traditional viewpoint that universities are places to learn, not places where students learn to kill.
