Imagine a world where the desktop computer is just a conduit to run externally hosted software, tap into off-site storage facilities and display an unlimited, free flow of interactive information. How about a place where surfers use their search engine to view universal results pages loaded with so much information that they no longer need to click to a Web site? Those were just some of the possibilities and probabilities explored by the thousands of marketers and optimizers at this year's New York Search Engine Strategies Conference.
FBI statistics tell us that virtually all data thefts occur by people who have physical access to computer equipment used to store a company's vital data: personal computers, file servers, domain controllers and data storage equipment," says Don Larson at TEAM Technologies in Madison. Higher visibility to the threats posed by data theft has caused many firms to conduct a risk analysis: to look at the type of data that is stored on the network and who has access to it.\n At the same time, employees need to be aware that companies are tightening their grasp on intellectual property, making it more difficult to job-hop, moonlight or re-use ideas, concepts, code, and even Rolodex contacts.
Ollabelle will be performing at J&R Music, on Wednesday, October 15th, performing and autograph signing at 12:30 p.m. Ollabelle was formed as a side project by a group ï six New York-based singer/ songwriters to play informally at the Sunday night gospel show of a local club. All were pursuing solo and group projects, but they had come to know each other and interact at 9C, a bar loated at the corner of 9th Street and Avenue C in Manhattan's East Village neighborhood. When the barman instituted a gospel night in 2002, the band members began playing together, working up originals to go with tradititonal gospel material, reating a musical hybrid.

Religious and denominational differences become insignificant. On Facebook, people focus on people for who they are, not what they do or what positions they hold.
