CRYSTAL RIVER, Fla. - Mrs. Mary Alice Sawyer Waters, 70, a resident of 3770 N. Bay Ave., Crystal River, died Monday, June 29, 2009, at Seven Rivers Regional Hospital.
Mrs. Waters was born in Perquimans County, July 31, 1938, to the late Edgar and Mary Davis Sawyer. On Dec. 27, 1955, she married Dalton Lewis Waters, who preceded in her death June 23, 2001. She was retired as a civil servant with the United States Navy where she served as a computer programmer and also held other various jobs throughout her life. Mrs. Waters was a member of the WBT, Women's Bassmasters Tour.
