Education Perry Technical Institute has hired Jennifer McMurtrey as an instructor in its computer applications and office administration program. McMurtrey previously worked at Prosser High School as a school secretary, with Cadwell Laboratories in Kennewick as a sales support specialist and with Dr. Daniel Dye & Associates in Richland as a patient accounts representative. McMurtrey has a bachelor's degree in business marketing from the University of Phoenix Online.
FORT KENT - A premier professional accrediting body of business programs for colleges and universities has given specialized accreditation to the University of Maine at Fort Kent for its Bachelor of Science degree programs in business, e-commerce, rural public safety administration and computer applications with a concentration in business. The programs received the accreditation through the International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education.
AUBURN - Central Maine Community College will offer a full slate of courses open to the public in the fall semester. Registration is open for classes that begin the week of Sept. 5.
