KETTERING -- The National Composites Center is introducing a way to help companies plan and design the production of composite materials, saving money and time in the process.
The center is working with software producers to make available a Composites Manufacturing Design Center -- essentially, an office with computers, projector, smart board and special 3-D printers. Here, companies will be able to share high-end design and machining composite materials software they may not be able to afford on their own.
